Salary: £35,000

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate and compliant employee records on the HR system.

  • Act as the first point of contact for managers, providing professional HR advice and guidance.

  • Lead and support employee relations processes including disciplinary, grievance, absence management, and performance issues.

  • Track and report on sickness, holiday, and absence trends.

  • Coordinate and support probation review meetings, ensuring timely follow-up.

  • Oversee compliance with employment legislation and internal HR policies.

  • Manage payroll preparation and liaise with the payroll team for accurate processing.

  • Support recruitment, onboarding, contract changes, and offboarding to ensure a smooth employee lifecycle.

  • Work closely with leadership to deliver people initiatives that support business goals.

  • Lead or contribute to HR projects such as developing policies, improving systems, and enhancing culture.

  • Use HR data and reporting to identify trends, support decision-making, and recommend improvements.


What we’re looking for:

  • Proven experience as an HR Manager, HR Business Partner, or similar role.

  • Strong knowledge of UK employment legislation and HR best practice.

  • Confident handling complex employee relations cases.

  • Ability to influence and build relationships at all levels of the business.

  • High level of confidentiality, integrity, and professionalism.

  • CIPD Level 5 (or working towards) preferred.
